Wrinkle Reduction

There are a variety of non-surgical procedures that can improve wrinkles. From injectable treatments like Botox® and Dermal Fillers to laser resurfacing treatments such as Fraxel Restore/Repair, the optimal procedure depends on each patient’s individual needs.

botox

Botox®:
Botox® Cosmetic is a natural, purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. Very low doses of Botox® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the overactive muscles that cause lines to form. Botox® Cosmetic works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles.

fraxel

Fraxel:
Fraxel Restore is a non-ablative skin resurfacing treatment. Fraxel technology consists of an Erbium laser column that stimulates the natural healing process, from the inside out, replacing damaged tissue with younger, smoother, healthier skin. Fraxel® re:store can produce significant results for mild to moderately damaged skin (age and sun spots, brown spots) acne scars, surgical scars, and wrinkles around the eyes. The recommended protocol is 5 treatments about every 4 weeks. Downtime is minimal, about 2-3 days of redness.
